Privacy
What Syracuse Data Desk collects: aggregate analytics only, no accounts, no ad tracking.
Short version: we don't have accounts, we don't sell anything, and we don't run ad trackers.
What we collect
- Aggregate analytics. If analytics is enabled, we record page views with IP anonymisation: page, referrer, device class and country/region. No cross-site profile is built.
- Server logs. Our host records requests, including IP address, for security and abuse prevention. Those logs rotate.
- Newsletter. If you subscribe, your email address is stored by our email provider and used only to send the digest. Unsubscribe links are in every email.
What we don't do
- No advertising networks, no third-party retargeting pixels.
- No selling, renting or sharing of subscriber lists.
- No collection of information about children, and no accounts for anyone.
Public records
This site republishes records that a government agency has already made public, including property addresses and names of record. If you believe a record about you is wrong, see methodology for the correction path — the fix normally has to happen at the city, because we publish the file as received.
Your choices
Email hello@syracusedatadesk.com to request deletion of a newsletter subscription or to ask what we hold about you. We will answer within a few days.
