No warranty
The data is republished from government sources "as is". Government files contain errors, duplicates and delays. We do not warrant that any figure is accurate, current or complete, and we are not liable for decisions made from it.
Not legal, financial or safety advice
Nothing here is advice about a property, a tenancy, a purchase, an inspection or a dispute. For those, consult a licensed professional in New York State.
Records are allegations and results, not verdicts
A complaint is an allegation. An inspection result is an administrative finding. A permit is a filing. None of these establish that any person or company acted unlawfully, and none should be read as a statement about anyone's character.
Acceptable use
- You may quote figures with attribution and a link.
- You may not scrape this site to build a competing product, resell the pages, or present them as your own reporting.
- You may not use this site to harass, dox, or target any individual. Records list parties of record; using them to intimidate people is prohibited.
Corrections
Requests to change a record should go to the publishing agency first. We will add a note to a page where a record is shown to be wrong. See methodology and contact.
